3. Is this a downloadable package that we can install on our own server?

Yes, this is a downloadable script that can be installed on your server.

Spam safe means that the email used for form's sending, are not displayed anywhere on the page and spammers can’t track your email.

8. What are the Caption Style and Control Style for in Field Advanced Option and how do I use them?

In order to change the style of the caption or control fields you need to enter the CSS style into "Caption style" in Field Advanced Option. For example:
- color: red; font-style: oblique; font-weight: bold; font-family:Tahoma;
- font: 25px Courier; text-decoration:underline;

And in "Control style" in the "Advanced..." section:
- background-color: #ee0000; font-size: 26px; font-weight: bold; font-family:Tahoma; width: 400px; height: 40px; width: 400px; height: 40px;

- etc.

9. How do I change the line space between fields?

In order to change the line space between fields, you need to edit the "cellspacing" value in the table which goes below the comment <!-- Page -->
There cellspacing="1" . If you set the value to 8, for example, you will see the difference.

10. Can I place the generated forms on several domains?

Yes, the forms generated by the script can be placed ANYWHERE, not necessarily on one domain. But PHPForms itself must be installed on ONE DOMAIN ONLY.

11. How can I correct the FROM email in the form?

This information can be changed in the Mail Template section (it's in the upper horizontal menu in the admin area). Choose Universal template. There you will see the message that the users get after their submission. Edit the template in the way you like. We recommend to create a new mail template using the example of Universal template (this template can be used almost with all forms).

12. I submitted the form, but results weren't stored. Am I doing anything wrong?

Please note: in the preview mode form results are not submitted neither to database nor to email.

13. Do I need to choose "Mail Template*" in "Field options" for every field in my form?

No, you don't need to choose "Mail template" for every field. Mail template is used only when you want to create autoresponder or thankyou email.

14. I want users who submit the form receive a thankyou email. How do I do that?

You need to create a new mail template with the "thankyou" content and in the form's field 'email' choose the template you created.

15. How do I do so that users get emails after submitting the form?

If you want the users, who fill in the form, to get the form data to their email, you need to set for the "email" field a mail template in the "Field mail options" section.

You can create this mail template on the "Mail Templates" page. If you want to create a special form template, we recommend you to do this when the form is already created. In this case, you can select forms tags for the fields.

16. When I click 'get code to insert on your page' no HTML code appears in the text area. What am I to do?

You can get the HTML code in another way: copy the URL in the first point, paste it in a new browser window and view the code of the page. The code you need to copy is placed between <!-- PHPForms.net form BEGIN --> and <!-- /PHPForms.net form END -->. This is the same code that must have been displayed in the text area in the 2nd point.

In order to solve the issue with the code getting, you need to consult with your system administrator and ask him how to solve the problem when the script cannot connect to the server where it is installed.

17. I want to change font for the whole form. Where can I do that?

You need to create a section on the page where you place the form:
<div style="font-family: Verdana">
Place form code here
</div>

18. Can PHPForms send form results to more than one e-mail address depending on which division the customer chooses from a drop-down box, such as "Customer Service", "Sales", "Delivery", etc?

Yes, PHPForms can be used for this purpose.

1). Just create a form. In the field "Send to" select "email" and leave the field "email" blank.
2). In the form you created add a field of a "select" type.
3). Click the button "Edit items".

Title will be the department name, e.g. "Customer Service", "Sales", "Delivery". Value will correspond to:
