Description
It determines color of the element external border. Unlike a line specifying through a border, the outline is displayed round an element without influencing width of the block or its position.

Syntax

outline-color: invert | color

Value
invert
It automatically specifies the line color proceeding from a background under it for the maximum contrast achievement. In CSS 2.1 a browser is allowed to ignore value invert and instead of it to use the line color set by attribute color.
color
It specifies a line color in any admissible format for CSS
